Behind the Scenes

Okay, so I've noticed my last entry was well over a month ago and I feel like a real neg for not filling you on what's happening lately.

So in the last months, I've been looking at houses and working on my portfolio again - which I think is a perfectly honourable excuse!! And with so, I now am living in New Farm, Brisbane (best part of the city where 7/11 is across the road, Nandos and Subway is my neighbour and living on top of a message business - not to shabby, right?) and I've finished a collection! Last week we had a dress fittings all week and we've been crazy busy researching location, type of shoots, props, ideas etc. and now we've finally shot them.

Here's a sneak peak for all you lads. This only about a fifth of it so don't fret, there's plenty more to see.

Kawaii!

8 Days in Tokyo with 2 of the finest singing, "I think I'm turning Japanese, I think I'm turning Japanese, I really think so..." but not really knowing what it meant.

Explored places like: Shinjuku, Narita, Nihon, Harajuku, Shinbuya and other's I cannot remember how to spell.

Tokyo Disney
Ate; horse (YES horse), eel, Japanese sushi (which was so not as fulfilling as Australia's sushi), sashimi, waffles, vending machine foods and drinks,
Harajuku girl/boy watching
Japanese punk rock bar
Kiddeland
Topshop in Harajuku
Forever 21
H&M
Anna Sui shops
Caught train in Shinjuku during peak (FYI is the busiest train station in the world)
Had a good ol' Happy Meal from McDonalds in Japan
All you can drink (alcohol) for 1000 yen (equivalent to about $15)
ABC Mart
Badass Toilets, not mention CLEAN
Hello Kitty every where
Japanese Manicures
Gloomy Bear stores
Crazy Arcades
and sooo much more

This trip was definitely worth the 8 hour long flight with no leg room. Japan was without a doubt, one of the biggest culture shock ever. The people there, as a sum, were some the kindest, most helpful and understanding people you'll ever meet - which makes coming back to Australia kind of crummy.
